Charger won’t kick on

Batteries are all new, had an electrician check the charger and it is good. It worked last winter now the charger won’t kick on. Could you help me with any ideas of what it could be? Thanks!

99% of the time I hear this, there is a problem!!! Just because someone understands house wiring, doesn't mean they know carts.

Make sure everything is wired correctly. You also may have blown the reed switch in the charger receptacle.

How new are the batteries? Were they kept charged since last winter or were they recently replaced?

Just sold a set of batteries to a customer that fussed at me saying i sold him bad batteries. His charger would not kick on and cart would not move.

Some reason he blew his reed switch in the charger recepticle. Check it out.

The Reed swich will prevent the cart from running, but will not stop the cart from charging. What is the pack voltage as measured at the cart charge receptacle?
