1986 ezgo marathon gas/oil mix ratio
 

I was wondering on the correct gas/oil mix ratio as I dont have the original oil injected holding tank and oil injector pump any more. I have heard of different oil mix ratios but not sure of the correct oil mix to each gallon of gas in fuel tank and what oil mix type i can use locally. The engine is a robin.

The tag on my 1986 Ezgo gas tank states 1 oz per gal,but I always use just a pinch more.

Hi I use Amsoil same as above 1 oz.+ to 1 gal. No smoking runnes good.

I just bought an 86 Ezgo Marathon and the PO said to do a 1:40 ratio.

What ratio is 1oz to 1 gallon? Is this considered a thin ratio. I am thinking that this is much thinner than say my weedeater and chainsaw mix.

40:1 is only for the first tankful on new engines.

128:1 is after that. {1 ounce per gallon of gas}

Your weedeater should be 50:1
