1997 EZGO gas 1997 not firing
 

My cart was firing sporadically and I figured out there was a loose connection in the ignitor four prong connector and it was the white wire that was loose. I clipped it clamped it together and got the cart firing correctly. I drove it a little but the engine was racing and when I tried to slow down it was really jumpy so I thought the other wires might be the problem, so I clipped the rest and connected them. Now I get no spark at all and I tried reconnecting them all to make sure I had a good connection. I did however forget to unhook the battery so could I have burned out the ignitor or blown a fuse, if it even has fuses? Please help.
