36v only goes in reverse

I upgraded my stock motor to a Plumquick motor, put motor on and now cart will only go in reverse? Cart ran slow forward at first and now nothing forward!!

If the solenoid clicks in both F & R, the problem is in the high current contacts inside the F/R switch assembly.

Ok solenoid is clicking in both f and r, but it goes backwards in F, and nothing in R?? Is my FNR assembly bad?

Maybe not ..... Is there a toggle switch on the speed controller cover? If yes the speed control may be bad.

Post a pic of the battery side of the F&R switch please. Ezgo released a few early DCS carts & you may have one

Ok I switched the wires on motor now it will go forward and not in reverse, I think I might have tightened the bolts on on of the studs too tight, and spun the stud and broke it, could this be the problem?!

No. Not to say you didn't. but if the motor works fine in one direction, it should work fine in the other, so I wouldn't waste my time on that.

Yes. That's a problem.
You never answered my question or posted a pic of the F&R?
