fine tuning the Club car governor

someone lengthened the rod on my cart before i got it. but they kept the limiter hooked. i un-hooked that. and now i want to govern it down where it will turn 42oo/4400 ish floored on flat groung. i got under it yesterday where i thought the adjustment was. it seems to be all sealed up by a black plastic box.

Yes, the Precedents do have a sealed pedal group. Sorry, but I only work on DS carts now and don't know how to remove it. It can't be that hard, though. What may put together, man can take apart.

the electric pedal groups are removed by lifting off the rubber floor mat, then unscrewing the four bolts holding down the pedal group.

I'm pretty sure the design is similar, but I haven't torn a precedent(gas) apart yet... good luck.

well i loosened the 7/16 nut on the arm on the rearend and i could make it top out any where i wanted. so now on flat ground it will run 20.5.
