Owners Manuals, and Service Manuals are two completely different things!
~The owners manual usually comes with the cart when you buy it new,
and has just the basics of how to run it, and what to maintain. (Free download)
~A service manual will go much further in depth about your cart. (in most cases have to be purchased)

click on the model and year of your cart, and the basic owners manual for your cart will download automatically!

Re: Club Car Owners Manual

I was looking for an Owners Manual for my 2011 CC Precedent, but the manuals from Club Car are only for 2012-2015 unless you download the manual for Remanufactured cars. Is there a way to get the 2011 or older manuals? Or should I just use the Remanufactured Manual?

Re: Club Car Owners Manual

The owners manual is pretty generic,
it really only tells a new owner (someone that's never owned/driven a cart before)
the basics of use, and periodic maintenance... If you download either/or, you'll find that they're pretty much the same!

OK, thanks!

I did download it. I just wasn't sure how much these things change from year to year. So, thanks for confirming that these carts do not change that much from year to year.

From what I can tell, the big difference came with the newer models that use the E.R.I.C. charger. Previous models that use the PD 1/2/3 all seem to be pretty much the same.

Try this:

http://www.servicemanualvault.com/

I was able to find the service manuals and the parts manuals for CHEAP $5 each in pdf. They seem to have almost everything.

No I'm not affiliated.

I visited the Manuals Vault and purchased the parts and service manuals for my 1983 Club Car. Thank you for posting the url for the site. The manuals I received were in .pdf format and appear to be just what I need. Thanks again!

The newest Club Car service manual available is 2012. Does anyone know if there much difference between a 2012 and a 2016 or are they close enough/the same that a 2012 manual would be beneficial?

They are very similar in regards to mechanical and drives, with the biggest difference is in mid-'14 the OBC was discontinued and out came the ERIC charging system.

Hi. I have a 2016 electric Precedent. I understand I can use a 2012 service manual. My question is which one is similar to a Precedent as that model is not listed? The Villager, Turf, Transporter...?

Thanks!

Those models are all DS based...

It appears that on the Manual Vault website, the most recent version of the electric Precedent service manual is 2011. That's the one you want, everything in it will apply to your 2016.

AWESOME! I ordered and saved the pdf. It is going to be incredibly helpful and saved me $95 buying the manual from a dealer! Thank you so much for posting this!

Good morning! I know this is an old thread, but I have recently acquired a 2004 Villager 8 and am wanting to make some upgrades and repairs, as well as lift/tires, and some cosmetic upgrades. I downloaded the owners manual from club car but do you know the best place to find a service manual or illustrated parts list for this cart? There seems to be lots of confusion on what lifts fit (some say DS parts fit and some say no) and I'm not a fan of doing things several times  so I'd like to figure it out and make this build cool the first time around. Thanks in advance for any assistance or recommendations!
