2008 ezgo rxv problems
I just purchased a 2008 rxv cart ant it seems to click whenever i let off of the throttle,the faster i go the louder the clicking noise is.can anyone give me a possible reson why

Actually i would say its more of a ticking noise, when i let off of the throttle at high rpms the tick is a very fast tick sound and as the rpms drop the ticking noise slows down with it.it sounds like the noise is coming from around the spark plug area.my engine is a 13.5 hp kawasaki

Could be a loose or cracked plug wire

Ill check that today,but wouldn't that cause poor performance when driving?

Another thing if it is a cracked or loose plug wire would that cause the exhaust to have more odor?

Probably in the starter. I've replaced starter bearings in the past to fix it.
