Easy answer to your question --- the G8 owners! Can't get much odder than that! :lhmo:

Ok. Ok guys. Lift pictures of the G16. First picture is what I started with. Had TONS of fun removing all that yellow paint.

Its a total of six inch lift, using Pachanga's idea of using a receiver tube. I made brackets for the top of the shocks to mount, as I moved the lower a-arm mounts forward by 1 1/2 inches. Then I changed out the G16 A-arms for the G8's a-arms that were just laying around. They are about 3/4" to 1 inch longer. Then I had to build blocks for the steering arms, as the extended length of the G8 arms put the steering linkages too short at fully extended. Also blocked the rear suspension. I added a bar from one shock bolt to the other shock to provide stability of the rear shocks..

One thing stumped me for a while. The cart was not level by about 1 inch from one side to the other. I realized the reason why was because the rear axle (left side) was shifted too far back and the right side was too far forward. I put a ratchet strap from the main frame to the left side axle and ratcheted it forward. Evidently someone hit something on that tire. I am not sure I like this free floating axle system.

The little blue G8 is fine. We used it all weekend. As a matter of a fact, he provided a rest as we shot a 7MM and 270 from it, to dial in our rifles yesterday. Tires and wheels is the only thing he dedicated.:shock:

Geez you guys have been busy this weekend. I took a little motorcycle ride to the children's Hospital on Saturday with 758 other bikes. Most bikes riding 2 up. So an estimated 1200-1300 people
