Hey I got one of those million dollar questions for y'all *although don't hope to collect lol* I want to BBQ my muffler not cause I have to but more as a precautionary deal. After 19 years I'm sure there should be some build up in there. Anywayz the question is>>>>> There is a burn ban right now in the state of Louisiana because of drought conditions. * I know Mike you should know a lot about that right now* Can I throw my muffler on my gas BBQ pit on high and achieve the same results or will it not get hot enough???? :help:

The muffler on a 4 stroke won't clog up. So not necessary. Unless its burning alot of oil.
Justin, I thought there was no packing in these mufflers, only baffles, or chambers. |

Yea, that's just baffle you are seeing. You need to weld up those holes though...Mine did the same thing. Your not getting the right back pressure with holes in there. You should also get some backfiring with holes. Do you have access to a welder?
