Is this a good deal?
Local guy has a 36v "reconditioned" 95 CC for sale. $600 bucks...sounds like a good deal to me...however, I don't know what it'll cost to convert to 48v. I'm sure I'll want to do that....right? Haven't seen it, looks ok in the photo.
What do you guys thinks. BTW... that's all I know. Thanks in advance. BS:help: |

Yes if it comes with charger. Depending how old the batteries figure another 600 to replace them if they don't last until the upgrades start.

if you are planning on upgrading to a 48v, you would be better off paying $800 or $1000 for a 48v car..... you have to figure about $200 for a wiring harness, then charging computer is about $200... etc..etc.etc... then when you upgrade to 48v you will also need a new charger...

Yes it has a charger, he sais the batts. are good? What if I kept it 36v, it seems everyone changes these carts over?:help:

if you keep it 36v, your biggest problem is the resistor (unless you have a speed control 36v, which is pretty rare). The car will go about 12 mph, and thats it, until you upgrade.. By doing so you will be drawing more power through the resistor, v-glide, and f/r switch creating weak points.. If all you want is a car to go from point a to b, at a decent speed, then leaving it be will be fine... If you want, lifted, fast, or powerful; then it is highly advised to switch to a 48v system, or even a 36v system with a speed control.

if by chance you find a 36v club car with a speed control, you can drop 48v batts in; swap solenoid, controller and charger, and it will go FAST....

To me a 95 CC for $600 would not be a bad deal because it falls into the category of "very workable cart". I am able to do my own wiring and understand the workings of the cart. If you are good at wiring and some fabricating it would be a good deal for you also. If not you are money ahead to hold out for the 48V cart.

why not buy it and resell it for more? Spend 500 on it and I think you could prob get 1700 or so in your local paper
