Where were you at on 911?
Do you remember what you were doing when you heard the news?

Re: Where were you at on 911?
I was on my way to a clients. I remember having a hard time getting my cell to work right to call my wife to tell her about it. A few days later I remember talking to a local talk host on the radio about it. I told him "This won't be over till we kill them all." He was sceptical for a few years, now he agrees with me. :sad11:

If I could sidetrack this thread slightly so it does not degrade into another us verses them closed thread
There have been a few things happen in my life that I will always remember where I was when I heard the news. Some of them are: When Pres. John Kennedy was assassinated When John Lennon was murdered When I was married When the space shuttle exploded When the LA Angels won the world series When the space shuttle disintegrated When I was married When the world trade center fell I remember where I was when all those things happened ~ The rest kinda runs together :lhmo: |

Corner of State St and High St in Columbus Ohio on the 5th floor of my employer (A Bank) Standing with our CFO and our head of Bank Protection. Remember the time vividly.
We watched the traffic clog up the streets as employers released their employee's to go home. We watched the State House Building quite intently. |

Re: Where were you at on 911?
just got on the onramp to the interstate on my way to work...... my uncle was a nyc cop on his way home when he heard.. a fire station that is on his patrol where he had many friends was one of the first to respond, by the time he got back to his station he heard all the firemen stationed there were all lost... my mom was also in ny about 30min from the towers when they fell.... i went up there in march to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins... it was wierd not seeing the towers standing there, especially since ive been in them years ago... the only thing that brought a smile to our face was my 4 year old daughter started singing london bridge is falling down,, as we were going across the verinzano bridge..

I was on a job site in Rockdale Tx, and the weather portended what was to come on an international scope. I will never forget it, nor should any red blooded American.
