Lithium Batteries
 
Anyone using or seen any Lithium batteries for golf carts? Is the weight savings worth the extra$$$?:roll:

For me the answer is yes. My 108-volt pack weights 97 pounds. But they go in my drag cart. Where weight is everything.

I don’t recommen them for a stock cart. But if you put them in your cart,, Then you are sicker than I am.:help::help::help::lhmo:

I'd recommend them in a stock cart if you want to same money long-term. Per cycle, Lithium now costs about half of what lead-acid does because a lithium battery charges faster and lasts 3,000 cycles. If you're curious about lithium batteries, I'm happy to give you more information.

Garage built, which kind of lithium did you go for in the drag cart? A123, CALB, Thunder-Sky?
