rebuild on 2pg 244 cc engine questions
Thankfully my father in law is doing this, but now has a problem on
getting the brass bushing out of the clutch on the robin 244 engine . This is the crank shaft that is tapered and slides into the clutch. Cant tell if threaded or pressed. Everything is seized up. Also, has anyone tried removing the rod from the crankshaft and if you can, is the bearing available to purchase anywhere? thanks for any help Julie |
Re: rebuild on 2pg 244 cc engine questions
you can still buy crankshaft bearings.
take the jug of the top of the case and you can replace all your piston & rod from the top, if you want to replace the bearings i think you can push them out from the inside. if there to tight you'll have to split the case to get them out good luck, Dew |
Re: rebuild on 2pg 244 cc engine questions
sorry i forgot the seized up part.
take the jug off and you'll be able see why its seized Dew |
