Thanks and Carryall lift questions

Want to say thanks for the help offered and for the patience shown for all my questions.
I'm wanting advice on a lift kit for a 2005 Carryall. I have found out any Club Car DS kit will work as long as it is for metal dust caps on the front wheels.
I will be using the buggy for light trail riding to check game cameras and drop off at blinds and stands. No bogging or high speed hill jumping. So far I'm dragging up way too much trash and sticks. Just need more ground clearance.
Question is what is a suggested kit? I will be installing myself. I don't think I need the strongest or most expensive kit for what I will be doing.
Also, can I use my stock tires for the time being?
Thanks for any help offered.

BLACK DEATH "I thought after 02/03 they went plastic dust caps"

From what I have read they used the metal dust caps on the Carryalls for a couple more years.

re: Thanks and Carryall lift questions

2003.5 to 2004... Club Car changed the spindles, bearings, and hubs on the DS!
Carryall 1's and DS's shared the same spindles, bearings, and hubs, and, from what limited Carryall info I have...
it seems that CC kept the pre-2003 spindles and hubs on Carryall 1's (because they're beefier) until about 2009/10.

But, just for confirmation, pop off a bearing dust cap... if you see grease and "roller bearings", you'll need a PRE-2003 DS lift kit,
IF... you don't see grease, and it has "sealed bearings", you'll need a 2004 and up kit.

Clearance...
A lift kit doesn't provide ground clearance... larger tires do! and a lift kit provides room for larger tires.
Most brand lifts require 10" or larger rims to make sure that the spindles/parts won't rub on the rims,
It's been proven that the stock 8" rim will work with the All Sports Super Sport kit for temporary purposes. (not sure of other lifts)
BUT... using stock rims and tires with a lift won't improve ground clearance at the transaxle, (pumpkin)
the ground clearance height at the transaxle remains the same as stock until you get larger tires.

I've had Jake's 3" spindles for a good 6 years, until I bent a spindle, (due to too many adult beverages) it's a good lift for minor off roading,
Then a Madjax 3.5" A-arm... it broke almost immediately.
I now have and All Sports 4" Super Sport A-arm...
I haven't had the chance to beat it up yet, but I have some concerns about it.
If I had done a bit more research, I probably would have went with a Jake's 4" A-arm right off the bat.

Hope this helps! 8)

To echo lockman, I have the Allsports SuperSport 6" double A-arm kit and ran my stock 8" wheels on my '87 Club Car DS for a few days before I got my 22.5" tires. The stock (center-offset) 8" wheels fit just fine, but I think that if I would have put my 22.5" on the stock 8" wheels, the inner sidewalls may have rubbed in front and almost certainly in back. I ended up purchasing 2+5 offset 8" wheels (that looked just like my stock wheels) with it and the tires fit perfectly with no rubbing at all, and I ran them for a good 4 years.

Here's my cart with the 6" Allsports lift and the offset 8" wheels with 22.5" tires:

I figured!

Here's my cart right after the lift with the stock 8-inchers. Was able to drive it around just fine without issue (other than looking silly):
