Hall Effect sensor
Anyone tell me how to wire around the Hall effect sensor on the accerlator on a Tomberlin Emerge elect Thanks

Re: Hall Effect sensor
I dont believe that there is a way. If memory serves, Tomberlin uses a 48v direct input to its throttle which has a circuit board in it. This board splits the voltage and sends 15v to the "hall effect/ ITS" and 48v to the microswitch (i think). Normally an ITS output is anywhere between .5v to 2.5v depending on where the throttle is. This same circuit board then changes that ITS signal and converts it to a 0-5v signal that the control can read. Hope this helps.

Re: Hall Effect sensor
If you have a tomberlin that has the circuit board, you can convert it over to the new style hall effect sensor that does not use the circuit board. All you have to do is swap the 2 outside wires on the plug in to the sensor. Its simple to do.

Re: Hall Effect sensor
I am changing the Hall Effect on my 2010 Emerge. Which wires go where? Converting from circuit board to new style. Thanks in advance.

swap the 2 outside wires

Re: Hall Effect sensor
you can simply turn the plug upside down and insert it into the new hall sensor. it accomplishes the same thing and it works.

Re: Hall Effect sensor
Here's a link to instructions with pictures on swapping the old circuit board style to the newer sensor with the integrator board. It's a free download.
