Re: Homade Lift '?'
ezgo changed the steering in 2001.5., old or new style?
Looking at your pic again it looks like old style, I think you might need spindle arm risers or your tie rods might contact the springs, also the pic of Scotty's is on a dropped axle and he either has spindle risers or st spindles. and if yours is the old style steering, you won't beat this deal. dropped axle and risers. http://www.sickntwisteddesigns.net/1920gasez5li.html |
Re: Homade Lift '?'
should be around 2" gain doing that. You could also add 1" (min) blocks between the body and the rear of the front springs to go even higher, doing this eliminates the need for risers. put th axles under the springs in the rear, this can be done with parts from the local parts/tractor supply store. You could probably do all this for under $40 in bolts, blocks, spring perches, ect.
That should let you run 22" tires. If I was doing this I would spend alittle and find a drop axle for the front instead |
Re: Homade Lift '?'
Can you do this to a 05 CC? I don't want much lift, what are the steps if possible? Front & rear?
