2006 gas club car ds
 

hello,

i'm brand new to golf carts and would like to buy one soon. i have a chance to buy an 06 gas club car ds.
from what i was told it's basically stock but has a light kit installed.
i think i can get buy it for about $2500. i'd like to know what to look for when i go talk to the guy about it. is 06 a good year? problems?

CC DS' s are all great carts, newer the better. $2500 is not a bad price and the only thing I can tell you to look for is broken welds on the frame. Especially in the rear which I think tend to break when getting hit. Oh yeah, and where the seat back brackets mount, but these usually are only broken on older carts.
Dont be scared thinking these carts have bad frames, its only a problem on beat up/abused carts. Plus if you know someone that weld aluminum, its an easy fix.
