I'm pretty sure that, like me, this is your first experience at lifting, repairing, and/or modifying one of these carts. My attitude when I started was that I had done cars, motorcycles, off road buggies and tons of other projects with success. How hard could a golf cart be? The answer to that is its not hard but it is a machine and a machine originally designed in Japan. Parts for these older machines, in some cases, are stilll available but some are not and they can be expensive. Take your time, plan each step, and use the proper tools and it will certainly save you time and most of all CASH. A good example of this can be found in my thread "Another G1 Rebuild!" True,I have had my G1 for three years and with the proper maintenance it runs great.Like anything that is old,they can be restored to new condition,its just how much $ you want to spend:thumbup:
