Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
Has anyone noticed a pigtail behind the instruments labeled "LSV"? I'm guessing that stands for low speed vehicle. Wondering if this is some future plan to enable 25 mph, lsv mode. Its just two wires (green and peach) with female spade terminals on the ends. They're both capped off. Assuming this is for a switch, like rabbit / turtle.

This wire is black though. https://i.postimg.cc/DWwnpVSJ/IMG-6969.jpg The peach wire goes to the fuse box. It appears to be the same wire. There is an empty fuse slot and nothing is mentioned in the owners manual for that slot. https://i.postimg.cc/JHZLHM2g/IMG-6970.jpg If I could do whatever I wanted without fear of borking the controller, I would stick a fuse in that box and short the wires in the dash and near the controller. But I'm not planning on doing that. Any thoughts on this? |

Re: Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
The controller model number is hidden by an access cover. I’ll try to get at it tonight.

The controller is a Curtis 1206AC.

Re: Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
I made a 1309 cable detailed in a different thread. Was able to set the speed to 25 mph using the programming station software. So, I won't be messing with this any more. Thanks.

Re: Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
Glad you figured it out. When you were in the software menus did you see sections for multiple modes?

Re: Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
Yes. Looks like there are 5 defined modes. Mine is in mode 5, which is freedom.
Here is a snap of an excel parameter export. https://i.postimg.cc/ts1NFFZV/Screen...54-m-YAFne.png |
Re: Liberty - LSV Pigtail in Dash
At one time I think someone was working on a was to switch modes on the fly for that controller by applying pack voltage to a currently unused pin in the harness. It would basically switch you to one of the other 4 modes. Could be why you have those extra wires in the dash..
