2009 Precedent, Hesitates On throttle depression

2009 Precedent, depress throttle hesitates then runs at desired speed then slows down, as if a carburetor were flooding. With normal throttle depression it will run at full speed for a while then slows down.
I recently discovered if I depress the throttle very hard to the floor and hold, it will run at full speed without slowing down.
Any help appreciated.

Try pumping the go pedal about 20 times with the key off. If your throttle response improves, you're looking at a MCOR replacement.

More than likely an MCOR failure. The MCOR4 conversion kit may be in your future. Part number AM293001. The contacts on the MCOR get dirty and can not provide a clean throttle signal to the controller. This is why it feels like you're hesitating while accelerating, but runs fine at full throttle. The contacts at full throttle are obviously in better condition than the rest.
