1973 won't turn over no spark
My 73 harley golf cart has 12 volts to the micro switch and wire going to the coil but as soon as i touch the wire to the coil volts go to 0. It won't turn over and i have no spark i can jump the starter but still have know spark

Check out the attached document. It has a step by step testing procedure that might help narrow down where you are failing. There are some other tests on that sheet that you can ignore.
