What does this part go to/ at/ do?
 

I got my cart from a guy who had alot of parts removed and in the dash cubby hole. i found this brace which im not sure what it goes to it has some sort of link arm that looks like it may connect to the throttle or governor somehow. i was just wondering where/ how it mounts and what it hooks to. any help would be appreciated! the cart is a 91 cc ds.

That would be the THROTTLE PLATE MOUNTING BRACKET.

The swivel part of the bracket mounts towards the passenger side, and the long govenor rod attatches to it, the short bent rod goes in the top of the carb, the whole bracket mounts to engine above the carb.

just be really careful when putting the 10mm bolts in the 2 that are up yop side by side they are a weak link and sometimes no fun at all if you break one..............................8)8)

another snafu. missing the following linkage.... anybody have and ideas on length / shape? gonna try to bend one out of a coat hanger.

you can try but i don,t think a coat hanger will work, one end is fitted so it pops in the hole but still has the free play it needs...........try some cart sites i think you can buy that.........................................8)
