fat tire vs. skinny tire

Pretty soon I will be in the market for some new tires. Don't know which route to go. Right now I have 12'' on the back and 7" on the front. It looks goofy to me. What's your opinion? Fat or skinny all the way around?

I like 10" all the way around. Plus you can rotate them if you need to.

I have 8 inch wide in the front and 10 inch wide in the back. in general wide tires are meant for floating across the terrain. skinny tires will sink through the soft ground onto the hard stuff underneath. also especially on sand skinny tires in the front will have a lot better steering control

I have 22-11-10 all the way around. Not sure if it's better, but it does get noticed. Of course my cart never sees the concrete and spends far more time on dirt sand or mud then gravel.

8" front 11" rear. Steers easy and I prefer this look to wide fronts

I've had them both ways. I do prefer the skinnier fronts. I used to race atv's so this theme seems to follow me LOL. But you should go with whatever look you prefer. One cart to another, there's not a huge difference. There are pos and neg for each. No right answer here. Get what you like the looks of....afterall....women notice the biceps first right?

I found that with wide fronts,if you hit decent puddles at speed,it tends to slow slightly, but keep momentum, where the same situation with narrow fronts causes a hard nose-dive and wet riders. My cart has 22/11-8s ,vs my Wifes with 21/10-8 so we have a good comparison.Narrow tires turn better, but i like the wide look more, plus wider tires do throw alot more mud/water on the cart and riders.

I run 22x11-10 all the way around. I love the fat tire look.
