Battery question. I know, another battery thread. Different kind of ?

Currently waiting for my motor to get back from Plum Quick and doing the brake cable mod. Gonna pull the batteries out of the tub for a good cleaning.

Is there any benefit to rearranging the batteries, meaning installing them in a different sequence than they were before?

Not the sequence , however some do turn the pos and neg ends to reduce cable needed,

There has been talk in the past about rotating battery position in a series system because the first battery in line and the last battery may take more of a hit from current flow in and out than the others but I don't think it's much of a difference and rarely worth the effort.

That's what I was thinking about the first and last batteries. I'm already pulling them out to clean them and the tub so I figured the middle two should switch with the first and last. Doubtful that it would make a difference though.
