What does a slow flashing amber light mean on a CC DS2000 powder drive mean.

It either means the pack voltage is low, or the last charge cycle did not complete.

I found 2 bad Trojan T 860 batteries on load test. They were brand new in April 2013. That was causing the flashing amber light ,and shuddering drive.
Trojan batteries are guaranteed for 2 years free replacement via distributer.

Yep they are faulty sometimes from the factory, glad you found the problem!
