2001 c/c ds 48v just stopped working
 

Looking for some help again.. My 2001 C/C DS just stopped working today have no forward or reverse..I pulled into my site at the shore today went in to get a drink came back out turned the key on and nothing just a click when I turn the key on and off I get the reverse buzzing and thats it..I push down on the pedal and nothing...I checked the batteries and they seem to be good have 8.3 to 8.5 volts in each batt... checked all wire connections all are good..The rod from the pedal to the gray box on the frame could that be bad?...Any help would be great..
