Re: tonights fun!
yep...follow the charging cables and connect to the positive and the negative on the batteries. Do you have a volt meter?

I have been thinking about one of those LCD volt meters too. I think that it would provide more accurate info on the batteries. Be sure to post some photos after you finish your project and let us know how the LCD works. Car53

Re: tonights fun!
Anyone have any tips for cutting the dashboard material. I know my rotozip will cut with no problem...it's just not always pretty! Steady hands and a firm grip, but it's still a little crazy to control. Also, should I put an inline fuse on the lcd batt. indicator?

Re: tonights fun!
Done. Good thing I'm not a brain surgeon! Rotozip and some touchup sanding to come.

Re: tonights fun!
Came across this fine little jewel for those with no budget. Unlike me.
It is very sweet. Monitors V, A, Ah removed, and battery %. Pretty slick and works up to 70v. http://www.photolocker.net/images/pggroves/tm500a.jpg |
