Yamaha golf cart with EZGO clutch HELP!!!!
I have golf cart that i am building, and it has a yamaha g16 rear axle and a honda engine with a 1in crankshaft. My question is will the clucthes off of a 1987 ezgo gas 2 stroke golf cart fit either the rear axle shaft or the engine shaft? I need clutches and I know a guy with an ezgo golf cart that he will practically just give to me for free. Any help it greatly appreciated.

Re: Yamaha golf cart with EZGO clutch HELP!!!!
no the clutch is tapered 30mm
the motor is 25point something mm and strait with a slot+key there are taper adapters made steel is better then aluminum for adapters but low power under 10hp is better for the adapter to live long no idea if the rears will swap if both are 3/4 and slot+keyed they should but may need work to use with the honda |

No ezgo clutches will work on any yamaha rear axles. Im not sure about the front clutches, but i would bet even if the taper is the same, the centerline to the rear clutch wouldnt be the same (important if you dont want to replace belts every month). Also the angle of the v-groove where the belt rides would need to match on both clutches.
