2010 tomberlin speed

I am working on a 2010 tomberlin emerge,it was brought to me because after replacing the batteries the unit would run slow and the speedo wouldn't work so I replaced the speed sensor along with the magnet ,but thatdidnt fix it and I also replaced the hall sensor. It was flashing 1/3 code sothats what made me replace the speed sensor but now it is flashing 5/4 circuit breaker open.Basicaly I was just curious if anyone else has run into this issue and has any idea on how to repair/diagnose it.

Check the fuses

You should check if the brushes are stuck in the motor. I have seen both of those codes caused by stuck brushes

ive checked the fuses and they are all fine,if the brushes are stuck would the motor still turn? At the moment it is just running 3-4 mph

Did you check the ceramic fuses with a meter?

Re: 2010 tomberlin speed

Its kinda common for the speed sensor to go bad, after the batteries have been replaced on a tomberlin. Changing the speed sensor only should have fixed the problem.
Something else happened, between the battery change and the speed sensor change.

Open breaker, from what I have seen, is a blown fuse, but the question must be raised as to why you are getting another code. You just don't see a cart with a code, and a code. Problem came on the speed sensor change, something got shorted, so all bets are off as to what failed. Smoked controller is also a possibility.

If you don't mind me asking, where exactly is the location of these ceramic fuses?

Thank you!
