Soooo, my brain went to work and came up with this. I think it is going to be strong enough. I stood on it and bounced up and down. I don't haul people very often.

So now, two pins and it pulls right off.

Next I'm pulling all the seat framing and rails off. All that metal and the platform are heading to get powder coated...

Nice, I did that same thing to mine a while back. I didn't use pins though, I threaded the outer tubing and used some bolts to 'pinch' the inner tubing so that it wouldn't rattle.

Secured 2 insurance quotes for Illinois LSV status from Progressive and Foremost, $75/year, full coverage, $4,000 cart value. Only possible obstacle remaining is the village.

How big of a hurdle is left with that one?

So far, they have no plans to prohibit them, as they are not completely up to speed on the state law yet. They will contact me soon with a decision. I am sure I will be the only cart in town, so I'll be the "test case". Gotta remember to leave the beer bottles in the garage, LOL!

Good thought. I'll have to see how it works out. I may end up doing something along those lines if it rattles around too much. Wouldn't be hard at all tho'... thx for the advice
