I finally got my receiver hitch made. I went and bought a receiver extension from HF for like 25.00 and welded some 1”x1” angle iron to it. Bolted it to rear foot rest and tada! Saved about 50.00 building it myself and I have this site to thank. Sorry, but I don’t recall the users name that posted his build, but it was super easy and looks great. Thanks BGW… I love this site.

So, it's looks like you've just had a recent "spike" in cart cost.

Looks like the same one I made. I used the HF extension as well.

Attachment 54542

I just used heavier angle iron, just because I had it, not because it was needed. Good Job, BeerBuggy!

You may laugh....but this is hers......so I did not need it but she never got a chance to use the first one.

Actually, that is the last thing she said before saying "go ahead"...and it is cheaper than the '66 Mustangs I was doing prior to these.

Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?

No...I sold out of all the old Mustangs. To hard on my back working on them for fun, had to give it up for a while. I love them too so to keep that going, our family car is a 2011 Mustang GT California Special...with that new 412 hp 390 torque 5.0 and a 6 sp. manual.

You should bring yours to Panama City on Oct. 9th for our Bay Mustang Club annual show at CookWhitehead Ford.

Nothing redneck at all, using what you have to complete a job is what it is all about sometimes.
As long as it's safe and clean looking I like it.
I read on the back of an old Harley once "You can't buy cool!"
