Best windshield

What the best sturdest fold down windshield? I have one now and it's so flimsy it squeaks and rattles so bad. I've tried putting dry lithium powder in the fold, and a thin little rubber strip in the fold etc and it still squeaks. If I push on it from the drivers seat in the fold the squeak stops. I don't know what to do but it drives me crazy!

CC windshields are horrible about that. I’ve never had one that doesn’t squeak. Ezgo windshields are much better about that. Hopefully you will find something that works.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the difference on the two? Are they mounted differently?

If it's a folding (2 piece) windshield, it's going to be flimsy. I've known some to fabricate a metal crossbar between the two vertical windshield / front top struts, then attach (screw or drill & zip tie) the windshield to it just below the hinge. Adds a lot of support to keep it from flapping around so much.

I was looking on eBay they have lots of them. I was looking for something that seals up good at the hood. They have 1 piece windshields there that look sturdy. I am looking for one with a gasket at the bottom. They also sett lexan sheets 1/4 or 3/8 that you could cut real sturdy had one in my side by side.

Yea I thought out running a piece of flat aluminum across the front where the hinge is.

I put a foam pipe insulation along the bottom of the windshield to close the gap. I think I first saw this on Sergio's cart...

I slid mine down to the front cowel and out that black door edge protects stuff that u get from the parts store. That keeps it from scratching the paint.

This is exactly what I was thinking. How did you attach it? Pop rivets? Did you notch it out for the roof struts?
