Drive clutch

Do i have to pull the drive clutch to change the spring? The instructions say I do, but I thought I read someplace you do not have to. Anybody tried it without pulling the clutch? I am installing BU's keystart with the new drive spring. Thanks

Like a car, not pedal start. comes with a new drive spring, stiffer for when idling, more response on hills .

You should have enough room with it still in the cart. Good luck!

does anyone have a diagram of what it consists of in there? When I pull the seven bolts and cover will parts fall out? The service manual tells me nothing.

No diagram.
Parts should not fall out, if they do just toss them back in when you put it back together.
