Madjax 600 amp with Executioner motor

Looks like Im the Guinea Pig for this setup.
Im pairing the new Madjax 600amp OTF Controller with a Plumquick Executioner on a Precedent IQ.
Both Plumquick & Navitas give me the ok. Navitas says the smart harness will adapt and calibrate to the executioner. I will post results as soon as The motor arrives and is installed. Has anyone paired a Plumquuick motor with this controller yet?

Wow ..that controller alone puts out a stupid amount of torque with a stock motor, you gone be rolling , better get some seat belts installed, or four point harness ...post a video .

Better put a tail hook on that thing so you can drop it to stop you when you burn the brakes up trying to stop before going over the hill.:lhmo::lhmo:

haha ..yeah along with a parachute ,wheelie bars, roll cage and a kill switch just to top it off, might even look into an aftermarket ejection seat , it's never hurts to land safely

I'm looking forward to your results. That should be quite the combo.

Re: Madjax 600 amp with Executioner motor

Hello Silverwolf!
Just installed the executioner this afternoon. I am pleased to say that I am very happy with the performance so far. Lots of torque. The controller responds well to speed snd acceleration all the way up. Regen is off. I got about 28mph on a bumpy 2 track road with only me onboard. I have 23" tires and a 6" A-arm lift kit. I actually havent turned the acceleration down to a minimum yet but I can tell you that the controller really adapts well to make a smooth throttle curve. Very smooth even at full speed & full accel. I can control my speed very easy by the touch of the gas pedal or spin out in loose gravel if I step on the gas from a stop. Ill keep you updated with more results. The cart is at a remote hunting location and Im only there on the weekends.
Also, going up a 40 degree hill I can hold my speed at 16mph
Thanks!

can you still use regen if you want to with that motor ?

Yes, you can turn regen to whatever your liking is. 0 to 10. 0 is off & 10 is heavy regen. I like it when Im going down very steep hills. It helps save my brakes.:thumbup:

Also, I replaced my state of charge bar meter & put in a digital voltmeter from Scotty B @ cartsunlimited.com
Very nice and much more accurate to determine when its time to head back out of the woods to charge up & not get stranded.
