Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
Good to know, what about say head and tail lights, the fender flares, tires and a lift, would like to get a windshield also. Any specifics on those?

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
Headlights, your better off getting a light set at an autoparts store. Tail lights too, unless your trying to put brake lights and signal lights, to make it Street legal.
Wheels are 4x100 bolt pattern which fit 99% of carts. There are numerous lift kits out there... Jakes Lift kits are the best in my opinion. Windshields can be ordered too, just measure the frame opening before ordering |
Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
As I understand, a G16 dash is suppose to work!

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
Maybe a whole dash will ? but I know the door set they sell will not, I tried these. They say they are for G14-22

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
My front bumper came off of a 02 Yamaha Kodiak ATV. The bumper was meant for the rear of the ATV but fit really good on the front of my cart. My headlights are super bright LED's that just stick on with 2 sided tape. I got those from China thru ebay. My wheels are 13" wheels with a 4x100 bolt pattern that I found locally on Craigslist.

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
You guys and your fancy pictures...
I put a G14-G16 rear seat on mine. Just had to fabricate a few mounts. I also replaced the front cowl and front bumper with a G14-G16 style. Bumper mounts are the same, just plug and play. There's a bracket under the cowl that needs to be shortened in order for the newer cowl to fit. For the dash, I tried one of those full across deals with the doors and could not get it to fit. Instead, I simply bolted on the G16 style cup holder section. Had to lengthen the wires and relocate the key switch but other than that, fit like a glove. Oh, and once you have the G16 cowl mounted up, you can simply buy a G14 light kit and cut it in using the provided templates. My G8 is the silver one on the left in my profile pic. Todd |
