Good job on the motor Mike!

Yes, you did it the way it needs to be done - posting to youtube and just putting in the link!

Here's another one. I think I may have a slight lean condition. It runs great but when I stop it lets out one good backfire. Never pop, pop, pop but almost always one good pop and not on decelerating but only when I stop. Could it just be slightly lean? Maybe I should check the valves again? Any suggestions?

Trying to post the actual video and not just a link. Apparently I don't know how to do it. Can anybody explain?

Hmmm....playing with your link I've found that I can't DELETE a post. The button says "Edit/Delete" when I point at it but it seems I can only edit.

Sorry, I haven't figured out how to post the video yet either.

Looks like the "Insert Link" button works for posting the actual video. I thought initially it didn't work, now it is. I don't know...I guess it's a Monday.

I have this single backfire issue too and I've been told that the throttle is not closing all the way. Haven't checked it yet but need to make it a priority.

Thanks Dave. I knew it had to be a simple trick.

Put a heavier spring on the throttle return.

Thanks. I knew you guys would know what the problem is. I will check that out the next time I get a chance. Weekdays can be tough especially during the month of June with 3 kids...seems like every evening we have either a baseball game, dance practice, or a school function or all three.

Any other suggestions on whether I should put my original clutch back in the G8 or should I keep the roller clutch from the G16. I just rebuilt the G8 clutch last year and it's still in good shape.

Mike Mac says it's good either way and there's pros and cons for both clutches. I can tell you that I don't notice any difference on either cart with either clutch.
