2PG compression #'s
 

So, what should the compression numbers be on a 20+ year old Robin EC25-2PG motor? I borrowed a compression tester from a buddy, and I got 120#'s. What should it be?

100 psi and above is good. Anything below that it probably wont run.

Glad i could help. Mine is around 100 psi and this winter its getting a top end kit and a new driven clutch.

What were the compression numbers on a new 2PG motor?


I have to do some more investigative research today. I already got a list of things to order. I think that some non ethanol gas has done some damage to the carbs/fuel pumps on one cart for sure, and another needs some top end love. But the top end will have to wait till next year.

My goal is to have 3 carts running for sure in the next month. Right now, I have one running good, and another that only goes forward, since the reverse cable is fubar'd. And I got a Amazon list started.
Funny enough, I've found Amazon to be cheaper than any golfcart site on parts. And free shipping.
