2012 48v Club Car Precedent New Lithium No Lights

Hello all: I used to have 6, 8v lead acid batteries, and my headlight worked just fine. Just installed 3 new 48v lithium batteries in parallel and now no headlight. In fact, there is no voltage going to the switch at all. I see only one fuse between the batteries which is not blown, so, I am at a loss. Hoping I can get a little guidance. Thank you in advance, Jim

The ATO (blade type) fuse holder for the main power (Tow/Run switch) is located on the main harness under the Controller.

The fuse is good here. Is this the ATO you were referring to?

How did they hook up before. Did they tap 2 batteries or did it have a voltage reducer installed. Each one of your lithium are over 48v so no way to get 12-16 volts with out a reducer.

Shouldn't the voltage going to the switch be 48v+ now if it was wired for 12v via two batteries before? Doesn't make sense there is 0v now.

I have a reducer I purchased, but wanted to make sure it was necessary before installing it.

That is the wrong fuse, that one is for the dc-converter.

You can get to the main fuse from underneath the cart and taking the Electronics cover off.

Look at the end of this screwdriver, that is the main fuse holder coming off that thick harness near the bottom.

It takes a 15 amp fuse.

Great pic - will pop that cover off tomorrow and check it out as I didn't get this message until too late. If the fuse is blown, then that would seem to be a clear indication a voltage reducer is necessary. Thanks and will update soon.

If you are running (3) 48 volt lithium battery packs parallel, I can't see how you would NOT need a reducer for your lights.

Wow I totally misread the post, I thought there was no voltage at the key switch and the cart was not moving.

Like mgray70 said, You need a reducer, if you connected that accessory power blue wire with the fuse holder to +48v the lights are blown now.

Is this the blue accessory wire you are referring to?
