ParCar Manuals - Motor Problems - Bushings

1) Looking for manuals for parcar cart.
- Year 2006 (?) Number 6ED-36113-E6 found on passenger side of dash.
(2) Forgot to flip kill switch when pulling cart with dead battery.
- Power was turned off & switch positon between (F-Forward) & (R-
Reverse). I thought in neutral.
- 2 minutes later, smoke and small flames from motor.
- 1 Week later, charged cart, full power. I drove slow to not add stress
to cart. Fine for a few minutes including forward and reverse.
- Normal driving sounds, few minutes later, cart slowed down & noise from
motor area.
- Stopped cart. Pulled home with kill switch on.
- Some ash from vent holes in motor visible.
- Neighbor said cart looks in good shape underneath but believes
bushings damaged when cart originally pulled.
- Need to find repair place in St. Augustine FL. Trying to have better
understand of problem first so not ripped off as not much $ to fix.
- Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: ParCar Manuals - Motor Problems - Bushings

UPDATE:

(1) Looking for any manual for this cart as don't have any... but specifically need service manual / or instructions for replacing the motor. Purchased another motor today. Says new out of box, keeping fingers crossed. Doesn't look that complicated but want to make sure we are not under-estimating what's involved to swap it out.

(2) Ignore item no. 2 describing motor issues with possible bushings. I purchased another motor today.

Thank you.

Re: ParCar Manuals - Motor Problems - Bushings

if its the same process as with other carts(ez-go and yamaha) then its just a quick un-bolt and re-bolt the new one on. watch out though the motor is heavy so have someone/something there to catch it when you un bolt it
