You might want to PM rangersam because it appears he just installed one based on his thread.

On second thoughts, maybe not.

It was the solenoid. Looks like a hammer down thing when you give it the throttle it makes the connection like a big round peg punching down.

Or maybe someone can shoot me a pic of there controller trying to figure out where this color wire goes, its RED with a blueish stripe and a 18 yellow plastic piece over it has a controller sized ring terminal

okay I figured out where the wires supposed to go, it runs from the controller up to the dash and is supposed to hook up to a relay for the lights.

NOW the last thing to hook up is my solenoid, The stock one has a yellow wire and a black with white stripe my guess is the yellow is positive and the black/white is negative?

I have a Zone Electric which is pretty much a Star. Where is your Star's solenoid located, under the back seat?

Nice job but why did they sell it to you for $500? Are you going to flip it because I bet you could get $3,000 for it?

I have the same cart, it’s 48v it blows the 10 amp fuse while it’s running on reverse, if I am going on forward it will go just fine with no issues, only on reverse it will do that, just recently put a brand new solenoid.
