Shrinking belt???????
 
Ok, I put the shorter HP belt on my 88 2pg and it appears to have shrunk over the winter. It is now tight in both clutches and it wasn't like this last fall. It could be possible there is something wrong with the driven clutch and it is closing to much and causeing this condition. I did notice last year that the belt was getting a little tighter. and was haveing a little trouble starting it in forward. Is there a measurement of the width of the closed driven clutch I could take first without removeing it first?
