97 txt tie rod question
A friend of mine has a 97 txt with a 4" drop axle lift that was already installed when he bought the cart. The previous owner rigged up a long homemade tie rod that runs from one spindle arm to the other. The steering is very sloppy and he would like to get rid of the homemade tie rod and put in the correct parts. I think it should have 2 tie rod assemblies, but I can't confirm this. Every site Ive gone on only shows one short assembly, does the same assembly work for both the driver and passenger side? If anyone knows where I can view a parts diagram, it would be a great help.

Re: 97 txt tie rod question
On that year of EZGO your front end in stock form should look somewhat like this. This pic was taken before I completely took it apart, the tie rods you see is what it should look like, with the drop axle I would think the kit would of come with new tie rods but used the same end parts. Hope this helps.
