94 Ezgo, 350es Honda ATV Conversion

OK as promised, here is what I have been planing for a long time. I've been off and on so many times on this project. But it's a good project for my two boys to help out on.

Started with a 94 ezgo, a 300ex front suspension, and a honda 350es.

The Ezgo 48 volt was a hot mess. The Honda I've had for years and is solid, well it's cut in half now. The 300ex has disc brakes, I also widened the front 10 inches. I plan on putting a rack and pinion up front. The 350 is an electric shift so no haveing to link up the shifter. I was thinking paddle shifters, but thought of a better setup. This may not be the fastest build cause as you see my shop is not done yet.

I got the motor axle under it. I knew I was going to have to cut out the front of the seat. The fan and oil cooler will be located in the console and also the shifter and all electronic switches will be located there also. I'll get it tacked in, have to get some spacers on order, and probably going to sneak in a spun aluminum gas tank. I see alot of problems on other builds with the gravity feed carbs.

Anyone ever stack spacers?

Yeah, the atv/motorcycle carbs are finicky when running a fuel pump. The beer keg fuel tank is always a cool idea if you have one. But I've seen 5 gallon gas cans rigged in there LOL.

that tank in the pic is a 2 gallon off a lawn mower. The outlet off the tank is lower than the carb (in that location) But the way to go is the spun aluminum tank behind the seat. I think.

Did i mention this is a low budjet build. didn't plan that but it's the way it turned out.

Cool. I've seen the spun alum tanks mounted up top behind the seats. Looks pretty cool all polished up.

I know I'm slow on my build but I did spend some time yesterday. Cut some clearance Clarence for oil lines got everything marked and lined up. Then the yard called my name then worked on my shop.

I ran into alot of rust but it's not as bad as you'd think on a 20 year old cart.
