Plowmans Golf carts is WOW!!
 

I was going to order the white spring "hop up kit" for 60$ or whatever cause who wants to spend $350 for Plowmans performance kit?
Oh boy Don is something else. When ordering Don told me to call him when my performance kit arrived. Well His entire staff decided to go to Canada for 2 weeks when my kit arrived. I called and left a message with his secretary and just put the install on hold.
Don calls me from Canada on vacation at $2/min and spends about 2hrs on the phone with me doing a complete tune up on the cart. I adjusted valves, gas pedal, airbox mod, clutch/spring install, governer deletion...etc. It all bolted on great. His $350 includes unlimited tech support and Don knows his crap!!!
1. This is some of the best money I have ever spent!
2. I didn't realize that major engine failure could result without the plowman parts and adjustments.
3. He was very patient with me.
I can't say enough how great of an experience I had with PLowmans carts.

Customer support is awesome at plowmans. Same here don was on vacation and talked to me as well.

Don Plowman is an outstanding person to talk to and do business with. Plus he knows Yamaha carts like no one else. If there is a mod that has been done to a Yamaha cart....Don has done it! Well done Plowman's!

Just bought the performance kit and a new drive clutch. Everything is installed, next is my phone call!

Do they have options other then send in your clutch first - I don't want to be down a cart that long

Heres what you do.send him the clutch on mon with the 2 day usps priority mail. He will have it back to you by friday. He will send it out same day he recieves the clutch from you. Incredible fast turn around.

Plenty of options. If your primary needs to be rebuilt, you can send it to them and you'll have it back in several days. They can also bore and re-jet your carb as part of their Hot Setup. http://www.plowmanscarts.com/carts.c...1391704457&v=2 With the Performance Kit http://www.plowmanscarts.com/carts.c...1365674627&v=2 you don't send them anything. Install the parts, make the mods, get in touch with Don and he'll walk you thru a few adjustment that you can make.

I just spent some time on the phone Don is a busy guy (the phone didn't stop ringing in the background) and he still took time to describe the process and why I should consider using his service.

to also answer my question, they no longer have a "core replacement" service due to demand on his staff.

also to add helpful advice I got, because I was confused about this, the products listed on his website are for sort of example only - the photo's and pricing are a "rough catalog" it sounds like, specific needs are per customer so its helpful for budget planning etc.. but not exact (possibly, speaking out of my *** on that)

also if your thinking about doing this just call up and get a clutch puller, so when you want to get it done you have everything in order
