1980 gas G1 missing engine parts
Soooo, I removed the head, clutch, etc. to replace the head, piston, and belts. After receiving all the new parts i needed, i realized all the old parts I needed to reuse were tossed in the trash! I need to find used parts and haven't had any luck online. Can anyone steer me in the right direction???

Both halves of the shroud covering the head, clutch, exhaust pipe mounting piece to head, the reeds and whatever they attatch to. Pretty much everything that attatches to the jug. Also the head that goes on the top of the jug.

Holy crap! Ya threw away half of the motor!
Keep perusing CraigsList as well. Non-running, beater G1s hit pretty often. For what you'll pay for individual parts you can get yourself a parts cart so long as you have a place to put it. Parts carts are awesome. |
