Hi All
My name is Rick and live in west centrl wi. Just picked up a 97 club car basket case today and hope to learn from all of you with your experience with these carts. I did a 94 elect EZGO a few years back and want to do another. I am not sure i have all electrical components. is there only one resister coil on these? My batteries are shot so I will have to replace them first when I find a good buy. I look forward to reading the many issues here. Thanks Rick

if its a 48 volt cart yes there is one coil behind the batteries so it wust be a reagan cart, should be 2 soleniods and the 6 gage cables off the solenoid mounted to inner frame rail should go to that coil and board.......the other solenoid is the master.............by the way welcome.......................8)

Thanks Tom
I was wondering what that 2 solenoid was all about. would some one have a diagram for this cart ? Does reagan mean regen or did I miss something, any major problems with this system I should look for? Batteries are shot 11yrs old so off to sams club today to replace them, then I will find out what else doesnt work.I was able to get the reverse alarm and contactor to come in but battery voltage dropped off as soon as I turned on the key. Thanks again for responding. Rick

I would reccommend taking the second solenoid with the coil off entirely. Wire the A2 motor wire(White) directly to the controller, and tape up the two small wires off the solenoid.

That second solenoid causes A LOT of problems.
