Recommendations for my 2004 g22a

I am getting a 2004 yamaha g22a this Saturday and I was wondering what is the best way to go about with a lift? I'm going to be using it for yard work, road driving, and off roading in my woods which is very hilly. I am looking at a spindle kit from buggies unlimited but it doesnt look like it will work with the 215/40/12.

And I'm also looking at the limited slip differential. Any pros or cons on having that?

First,,, RUN from that supplier!! Use venders on this site!! You'll be much happier in the long run!!

I did a G22 build in the G8 club thread, starting about page 444 if you care to see!!

Yes do not purchase from them. Poor service and poor products. A lot have been scammed from them. Spend more and get what you need from plowmans or jakes. There are a few other reputable venders on the forums as well.

As far as lift and tires I like the 3" with the 22" wheel tire combo. Perfect for on and offroad riding. The 6" can get tippy and with a rear seat puts the floor board very high up off the ground

I can't seem to find a 22" tire that fits on a 12" wheel (all terrain tire). I've been reading if I do a 6" that I should do a 2" wheel spacer for best use.

They're out there... https://www.golfcartking.com/rhox-mo...olf-cart-tire/

The 6" spindle lift will make the front stance wider. 2" spacers on the rear will even it out. The spacers aren't necessary.

For any performance upgrades, look at Plowmans. http://www.plowmanscarts.com/parts_g_16_g_22.html

Upgrade the performance, then think about the limited slip...

Unfortunately you can't fit 22" tires on the front of a G22 with only a 3" spindle. 20's max it out.
