G2 with spark issues need help
I recently got 2 g2's from a friend one we got running but the other one is missing the throttle cable to the pedal so for some reason you have to jump the solenoid to get it to turn over but it is not getting any spark its got a good plug In it and I switched the coils from the other machine and its still not getting spark but I know that the coil is good. So my question is what's the problem ? Is it maybe the pedal switch or something to do with the throttle cable? I cleaned all connections too. Please help

Do you have power going to the key?

Does it have power coming out of it to the generator if so it could be a dead spot or low brushs also check to see if it grounded run a wire from the negative side of battery to the top of the motor hook the wire under one of the valve cover screws

Re: G2 with spark issues need help
There is a stop switch that kills the ignition if the pedal is not pressed. If the switch is missing, jumper the wires together and see if you get spark when cranking. If you jumper the wires, it should start cranking also. It gets triggered with the gas pedal.
