Best way to raise 2022 Onward top speed
I'm getting conflicting information from different dealers about how to best raise the top speed of a new Lithium Onward (2022 model) so it can be street legal (22-25 mph).
Dealer A says it's just a controller reprogramming. Pros: Easy, quick change, low cost. Cons: He doesn't have an Onward in stock. Dealer B says you need to change the gearing. Pros: He has the cart in stock. Cons: Changing the gearing will void the factory warranty on the drive train, higher cost to do the mod. This is similar to what I've heard from different EZ-GO dealers for the RXV Elite. Are all these guys just talking their own book? Who's right? What would you do? |
Re: Best way to raise 2022 Onward top speed
I would go with dealer A, just have him program mode for into your cart. Or buy new controller and you can program what you want.

Fstop I don’t really know to much about the Lithium Onward 2022 carts. Thanks for correcting my post so I do not misdirect AlgoTrdr in to a controller that may not work in his situation.
