driven clutch
can a ezgo rear clutch fit a club car? the reason i ask is because the stock club car uses a 7/8 belt and i installed a vanny with a ezgo engine clutch with a 1 1/8 belt and now the belt is no where near going all the way down on the rear clutch or is my best bet sending it off to try and get it machined to work?

Re: driven clutch
From what I have seen, the ezgo uses a splined shaft and the cc has a keyed shaft

Re: driven clutch
I agree. the ez go clutch would have to be modified to fit the club car keyed shaft. (if possible) or put an EZGO rear end in your CC. A good machinist could bore a hole in the clutch and build an insert or maybe just cut the clutch to size with a key slot. You may get lucky and they both have same diameter. Cut out a spline and install a key to catch it from spinning on the shaft. That's a little sloppy sounding, but would probably work.:mrgreen::lhmo: You get the idea. Make it work! Good Luck!
Let us know what happens:thumbup: |

Contact Tom at CPP. He is the man who will know what the best option is and if it can be machined he can do it
